The Medical Laboratory Technician / Clinical Laboratory Technician is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of high complexity laboratory test results with minimal supervision. MLT / CLT personnel are capable of performing pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical duties including specimen evaluation, data analysis, and instrument maintenance and problem resolution. They often work with acute-care and outpatient caregivers, along with other Laboratory Services staff in performing their duties.

Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement. Upon hire: National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Society for Clinical, Or National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Medical Technologists, Or National Medical Laboratory Technician - American Association of Bioanalysts, Or National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists, Or National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, Or National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts, Or National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or National Laboratory Tech - United States Government Upon hire: Criminal background check and fingerprinting may be required for position, based on assigned duties.
