Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by a major Certifying Agency. Valid driver’s license. Driving report from Department of Motor Vehicles must be acceptable to the hospital’s liability carrier.
MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must meet one or more of the following
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological science with a “Plus One” concentrated year in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science, Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist by a major certifying agency such as AMT or ASCP. Valid driver’s license. Driving report from Department of Motor Vehicles must be acceptable to the hospital’s liability carrier.
