✓Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT).
Education
✓1 . Associate of Science (AAS) degree in Medical (Clinical) Laboratory Technology or Science OR Associate’s degree is a chemical or biological science.
Qualifications
✓Experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
✓Able to multitask and handle stressful situations.
✓Able to communicate effectively.
✓Able to work well as a team with co-workers, supervisors and all other staff/customers, including patients.
✓Knowledge of basic computer skills.
