Description The Nurse Practitioner serves as an advanced practice nurse in the area of medical management; medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective interventions in collaboration with and under the direction of a physician licensed to practice medicine in the State of Michigan. Prescriptive authority is accomplished through the collaboration with a licensed physician.
