Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Qualifications
✓Must demonstrate interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required in order to serve a diverse customer base. knowledge of how to assist patients in a timely manner with concerns and/or complaints.
✓Must operate standard office machines and equipment such as photocopiers, PC, fax, scanner, general office and communications equipment.
✓Basic problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Be proficient in the following, but not limited to: patient registration, appointments, scheduling, arrival appointments, EMR phone notes, indexing documents within EMR, telephone etiquette. preferred
A working knowledge of computers. Knowledge regarding medical terminology, insurance, Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred.
Makes appropriate decisions, using available resources, to achieve positive outcomes for patients, visitors, and staff in balance with sound business practice. preferred
2. Prior administrative experience in a physician practice strongly preferred
3. Knowledge of computerized scheduling & EMR system a plus preferred
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills preferred
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite preferred
About the role
Scheduling: Using general scheduling guidelines appropriately schedule patient appointments selecting appropriate visit type/length of visit. May be required to schedule meetings for physicians.
