You’ll need
Licensure
✓Cone Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Medical Oncologist with a primary clinical focus in Breast Oncology to join our growing oncology program in North Carolina.
✓Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology/Oncology
✓Eligible for an unrestricted North Carolina medical license
Qualifications
✓MD or DO from an accredited medical school
✓Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology or Medical Oncology fellowship
✓Eligible for appropriate medical staff privileges
✓Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered cancer care
✓Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
✓New fellowship graduates with a strong interest in Breast Oncology and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply
Demonstrated interest, training, or experience in Breast Oncology preferred

Evaluate and manage patientsEvaluate and manage patients with other solid tumors and general oncology conditions as appropriate
Develop evidence-based, individualized cancerDevelop evidence-based, individualized cancer treatment plans
Prescribe and manage systemicPrescribe and manage systemic therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, endocrine therapy, and other evidence-based treatments
Coordinate multidisciplinary breast cancerCoordinate multidisciplinary breast cancer care with breast surgeons, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, genetic specialists, and other members of the cancer care team
