You’ll need
Education
✓Bachelor's degree in Science, Healthcare, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry or related field
✓or Master’s or doctorate degree in Medical Physics.
Qualifications
✓standing, sitting, finger dexterity, seeing.
✓Frequent: hearing speaking, repetitive arm/hand motions, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, frequent gripping of an object, lifting usual weight of 0-30 lbs., pushing/ pulling usual weight of 10 lbs. up to maximum of 30 lbs, lifts usual weight of 10 lbs up to maximum of 30 lbs.
✓Occasional: walking, stooping/bending, kneeling, crawling, climbing stairs, squatting, twisting body, reaching above/at/below shoulder.
✓Operates hand tools.
✓or four (4) years experience in medical physics or closely related health care work may be substituted for educational requirement.
✓In addition to the educational requirement, two (2) years work experience in medical physics
✓Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
✓Ability to complete assignments and projects independently.
✓Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and execute a variety of tasks.
✓Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook software and have the ability to easily learn other software applications.
Experience to demonstrate knowledge of the medical field, preferably in radiology, nuclear medicine or radiation therapy. preferred
Experience in a hospital safety program preferred.
