The receptionist serves patients by greeting and helping them, scheduling appointments, and maintaining records and accounts.
Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately Check patient into the electronic medical record Ensure patient packet questionnaire is complete, if not assist patient in completing Address patients questions or needs Review M. D. visit orders to manage and expedite ordered care (e.g., referrals, follow up visits, DME orders, test orders and medication orders) Print paperwork for patient education and/or test instructions Check patient out of the electronic medical record at completion of visit Supports goals of department/organization.

High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (required)
