Certifications
✓Must have 1 year ultrasound experience or appropriate on the job training to be eligible for the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Education
✓Graduate of accredited school of ultrasonography or radiologic technology; DMS registered preferred. Must have 1 year ultrasound experience or appropriate on the job training to be eligible for the Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
✓Ability to recognize subtle differences between healthy and pathological areas.
✓Flexibility to work overtime as needed as well as on-call duty and disaster work as required by workload and/or unforeseen circumstances
✓must display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues of Neonate, Infants, Adolescence, Adult, and Geriatric
✓ability to follow oral and written instructions
✓communicate with patients, visitors and employees within the organization.
