✓You will oversee the day-to-day operations of Medical Staff Services, ensuring providers are credentialed, privileged, and reappointed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with complex regulatory, accreditation, and governance requirements.
Education
✓Bachelor's degree.
Qualifications
✓Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory and accreditation requirements and the ability to interpret and apply complex standards within hospital operations.
✓Experience managing credentialing, privileging, medical staff services, compliance programs, quality initiatives, or related healthcare operations.
✓Demonstrated success leading teams through coaching, performance management, accountability, and professional development.
✓Ability to evaluate complex information, identify risks, make sound decisions, and manage competing priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
✓Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
✓Experience utilizing Lean principles, continuous improvement methodologies, A3 thinking, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
✓Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, executives, medical staff leaders, and operational teams.
✓A self-directed learning mindset with the ability to independently research, interpret, and apply regulatory requirements.
✓A leadership style grounded in humility, collaboration, curiosity, and service.
✓Ability to lead change thoughtfully, build trust with teams, and create an environment where employees feel valued, heard, and engaged.
✓Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance strategic priorities and daily operational demands.
✓Must meet at least one of these two experience requirements: 1) Minimum five years of progressively responsible Medical Staff Services experience in an acute-care hospital, including credentialing and privileging, with at least two years of formal supervisory or management experience
✓2) Minimum five years of progressively responsible hospital experience in regulatory compliance, accreditation, quality, or a closely related area, including regulatory interpretation, compliance assessment, corrective or improvement actions, with at least two years of formal supervisory or manageme

Review complex credentialing mattersReview complex credentialing matters and provide guidance regarding eligibility, privileges, adverse findings, and risk-related concerns
Support professional practice evaluationSupport professional practice evaluation processes and Medical Staff committee operations, including preparation, coordination, documentation, and follow-up activities
