Performs laboratory tests in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, special chemistry, minimal microbiology, transfusion service, and serology according to policy and procedure.
Demonstrates specific hematology skills as listed and in accordance with the hematology procedure manual. Demonstrates specific coagulation skills as listed and in accordance with the coagulation procedure manual. Demonstrates specific urinalysis skills as listed and in accordance with the urinalysis procedure manual.
Demonstrates specific microbiology skills as listed and in accordance with the procedure manual. Demonstrates specific chemistry skills as listed and in accordance with the chemistry procedure manual. Education Level: Associate Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent. Certification/Licensure: MLT(ASCP) preferred Experience
Minimum one year hospital laboratory experience preferred.
