✓Current Massachusetts licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
✓Current DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration (MCSR), or ability to obtain.
Certifications
✓National certification as an NP or PA.
Certification from the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) or documented experience in medical weight management. preferred
Education
✓Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Qualifications
✓Experience managing adult patients in primary care, endocrinology, obesity medicine, weight management, or a related specialty.
Experience in obesity medicine, weight management, endocrinology, or lifestyle medicine. preferred
Familiarity with prescribing and managing GLP-1 receptor agonists and other anti-obesity pharmacotherapies. preferred
Experience using Epic or a comparable electronic health record. preferred
