MHA’s have the primary responsibility for ensuring the resident’s safety on the unit utilizing a therapeutic approach to all tasks including assistance with daily activities, facilitation of groups and other duties as assigned by Group Leader, Assistant Group Leader, or Shift Supervisor. 3449. Qualifications Bachelors or Associates degree in psychology, social work, education, criminal justice, or other related mental health field preferred, but not required. Detailed and organized with strong documentation skills Able to safely monitor residents and perform physical management techniques and crisis intervention. Experience in a residential mental/behavioral health setting strongly preferred. Must be 19 years or older, and have a successful drug screen and background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check).

Mental Health Associate -1st shift 7am-3:30pm with rotating weekends (9am-9:30pm)
