Performs a variety of technical (including Flu, Strep, Covid, UDS, HCG POC), clerical and communicative tasks for the effective operation of the Medical Clinic. The MHT (Mental Health Tech) plays a critical role in supporting the mental and physical well-being of patients within healthcare settings. This position involves providing direct care and assistance to patients experiencing mental health challenges, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity at all times.
The role requires close collaboration with nursing staff, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans and respond promptly to patient needs. The Mental Health Tech (MHT) also monitors patient behavior, reports changes, and helps create a therapeutic environment conducive to recovery. Ultimately, this position contributes significantly to the overall quality of patient care and the smooth operation of mental health services within the facility.

Organizes and monitors the flow of the Clinic workload. Maintains flexibility based on clinic needs.

High school graduate or equivalent. Six months to one year patient contact experience required.
