Mental Health Tech Behavioral Health 7a-7p Part Time. 2 days per week, every third weekend, rotating holidays Where You'll Be: Baptist Health LaGrange is adding a brand new 11-bed inpatient behavioral health unit. Our focus will be providing care for adults 18 and older who require hospitalization for behavioral health needs in a safe and structured environment. The unit utilizes an interdisciplinary team approach to provide care for patients.
Team is made up of registered nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, recreational therapist, and psychiatrist.
Assists with routine patient care as delegated by nursing staff Assists in obtaining patient histories, takes vital signs, I & O and documents Complete safety rounds for patients and unit as delegated/assigned Maintains clean and tidy patient room/environment Responds to requests for service and assistance in a positive manner Advocate for patient Why You're a Great Fit: You have had previous experience in behavioral health (not required) You have a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred You have or will obtain BLS certification You are positive and passionate about helping those in our community If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!
