Mental Health Technician (MHT) – Day

As an MHT, you create a calm, structured milieu where healing can take root —bringing steady energy and teamwork to our busiest hours. How You Will Make a Difference
  • Perform frequent safety rounds, observations, and 1:1s as assigned; document behaviors and interventions.
  • Lead or assist with groups: coping skills, grounding, recreation, and ADLs support.
  • Partner with RNs during crises using verbal de‑escalation, redirection, and team response protocols.
  • Support admissions/intakes: belongings inventory, vitals, and orientation to the unit.
  • Maintain a therapeutic, tidy environment and uphold visitor policies.
  • Coordinate with rounding providers and daytime interdisciplinary teams to keep care plans moving.
  • Support safe discharges and smooth handoffs to evening/night teams. What We’re Looking For
