Provides direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct Supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to Ensure safety and well-being. Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
Assists with physical care under the direction of a RN.
Other information: North Bay Recovery Center (NBRC), Integrated Stabilization Unit (ISU), St. Joseph's Hospital Behavioral Health Center (SJH-BHC) and St. Joseph's Hospital North (SJHN) locations only: Requires use of tight-fitting respirator (TB-Asbestos-Etc).
