Responsibilities This is a great opportunity to work in the behavioral healthcare field. This position is part-time with every other weekend rotation. Part-time would be two 12-hour shifts per week.
The hours for this position are: 6:30 pm - 7:00 am (Two 12-hour shifts per week) OR 6:30pm - 11:00 pm (4-5 shifts per week) Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for 42 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17.
We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Monitors unit milieu and helps to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients Leads activity groups for patients according to the program schedule Conducts patient observation rounds throughout the shift to ensure safety Works collaboratively with unit nursing staff on patient care activities Responds to patient crisis events accordingly using de-escalation techniques.
