Mental Health Therapist or Counselor FT M-F About VGH Virginia Gay Hospital, established in Vinton in 1923, is an independent, nonprofit critical access hospital supported by a strong local community. The organization includes a 25-bed hospital and four family medical clinics located throughout Benton County, Iowa, offering high-quality, local healthcare and opportunities for professional growth and meaningful patient relationships.
AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide an array of outpatient mental health services to promote individualized patient recovery Conduct intakes and individual therapy sessions Develop service plans and conduct reviews as needed throughout the duration of treatment Provide mental health assessments, counseling, referrals, and intervention services
• Must have master's degree and have completed 3,000 hours of supervision to be licensed in the state of Iowa.
