Certifications
✓Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Behavioral Health, or a related field, OR an active AIMS MHA certification. (A minimum of five (5) years of experience within behavioral health is acceptable in lieu of a degree).
✓Active American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, or ability to obtain it within six (6) months of hire.
Qualifications
✓Strong baseline of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to effectively document patient data and collaborate with medical staff.
✓Scheduling Requirements
Prior experience working with psychiatric and/or substance abuse patients. preferred
Background or active interest in psychology or sociology. preferred
Proven experience in non-violent crisis intervention techniques. preferred
Full-Time (FT) preferred
