Job Summary The MFM Sonographer Educator III is an advanced sonographer who plays a vital role in maternal-fetal medicine by independently performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
This position requires an advanced knowledge base, superior technical skills, and a deep understanding of maternal-fetal medicine ultrasound. Operating under physician supervision, the MFM Sonographer Educator III provides essential clinical information for patient diagnosis and treatment, while also ensuring the highest standards of care. In addition to direct patient care, this role is responsible for mentoring, training, and guiding sonographers by developing and implementing best practices.
The MFM Sonographer Educator III actively contributes to quality improvement initiatives, advanced clinical education, and the integration of new technologies and protocols within the department.
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: a. Associates Degree (graduate of an accredited medical sonography program) b. Basic Life Support from approved American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) Program c.
