✓Current North Carolina State Registered Nurse License Current North Carolina Driver’s License Current CPR Certification CPI Certification Job Responsibilities Timely processing of inquiry/referral calls.
Certifications
✓Thorough and accurate documentation of calls Ensure all required clinical documentation is received for accepted patients to include medical records, legal paperwork, required lab results and testing, and any supporting documentation.
✓Develop professional relationships with behavioral health management teams at other facilities.
✓Use clinical judgement to determine the most appropriate bed assignment.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Qualifications
✓Receive nursing report for incoming patients from sending facilities Triage walk-in patients who arrive for assessment Bed management to include real-time bed availability, patients pending admission, patients pending discharge.
Registered Nurse At least 6 months experience in a behavioral health or hospital setting. Clinical referral management experience or case management experience preferred.
