Directs and provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and is directly responsible to the ADON/DON for quality patient care provided to patients in the Facility. Responsible for the day to day operations of Lead Mental Health Technicians, Mental Health Technicians and Nurses to enhance the quality of patient care. Provides sufficient staffing and schedules personnel according to census and acuity.
Education/Training: · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. · Associate of Nursing required; BSN preferred
· At least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in psychiatric, mental health, and/or rehabilitation nursing. · At least 3 years supervisory/management experience preferred.
