Monday to Friday 6:30am-3:00pm with rotating weekends
The Microbiology Processor will be responsible for receipt, processing and storage of specimens. This includes centrifugation, separation, refrigeration, labeling, making & staining smears, planting specimens to culture media and storage of samples. This is a staff level position working under direct supervision.
Work situations are routine laboratory functions requiring a commitment toward customer service, attention to detail, organization, and prioritization. Internal contacts may include patient care staff throughout MHS. External contacts are limited but may include physicians and patients.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $24.40 - $37.14 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
