Certifications

✓Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. (“Customer hospital” means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.) Must have a valid driver’s license

Education

✓Degree in Nursing or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

Qualifications

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling. Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling. Mobile assessment experience preferred.

The Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator (“Assessor”) provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor’s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.
