You’ll need
Certifications
✓AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
Enrolled in a Certified Nursing Assistant Program, Patient Care Technician Program or or health sciences program preferred.
Education
✓High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
Qualifications
✓Basic math, medical terminology, and literacy skills.
✓Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✓Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google Suite platforms and EPIC.
Minimum of 1 year or more of experience in health care is preferred.
Minimum of 1 or more years of experience in customer service or patient care preferred.
Possess knowledge of common hospital equipment used in patient care. preferred

About the role
The Mobility Technician, under the direction of the department of rehabilitation in partnership with nursing unit leadership, assists with patient care related activities to improve and enhance the mobility of patients in an acute care hospital setting.
