About the role

The Monitor Technician performs under the direct supervision of the PCM, and is delegated assignments, to achieve quality patient care. He/she is involved in the implementation phase of the nursing process and is responsible to the PCM of the Central Monitor Station. He/she is responsible for observing and reporting patient heart rhythms while working under the guidelines of the monitor room.
