Job Summary and Qualifications The Monitor Technician interprets cardiac rhythms and arrhythmias, maintains telemetry supplies and maintains patient records according to hospital policy. You will communicate effectively with staff, supervisors, ancillary department and other customers Maintain a neat and organized work place Acquire and maintain correct knowledge in hospital/unit information You will operate computer systems as necessary What qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Working knowledge of basic rhythms and arrhythmias is required Completion of basic EKG/Arrhythmia course and successful completion of Monitor Tech examination Previous experience as CMT/Cardiac Tech or Monitor Technician preferred Benefits LewisGale Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
