*Eligible for up to $1,500 Sign on Bonus if hired* Baptist Health is seeking to add a Monitor Technician to our Central Monitoring Unit located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day shift opportunity. At Baptist Health, a Monitor Technician plays an essential role in patient safety by providing continuous cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation.
These technicians are responsible for observing patients’ heart rhythms remotely, identifying any abnormalities, and promptly communicating concerns to the clinical team. Throughout the shift, the Monitor Technician ensures accurate and timely rhythm analysis to support patient care and rapid response. As a Monitor Technician, you will be responsible for: Continuously observing patients’ cardiac rhythms for changes or abnormalities.
Monitoring EKG patterns and accurately interpreting rhythm strips. Documenting and reporting cardiac events to nursing and medical staff. Collaborating with nurses and physicians to ensure timely clinical interventions.
Education & Credential
