Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Monitor Technician to work 7AM - 7PM
/Responsibilities: Documents and interprets telemetry rhythm strips at intervals and with patient changes. Performs independent check of strips to include: time, PR interval measurement, QRS measurement, QT measurement, ectopy and baseline rhythm Assigns telemetry monitoring as ordered by physician Effectively communicates telemetry-related patient information to members of the health care team Continuously checks telemetry monitoring system to ensure proper working order.
Demonstrates knowledge of escalating medical emergency and Code Blue process. May perform relevant duties as needed Minimum
High School diploma or GED required Minimum
Previous Monitor tech experience preferred
Strong customer service skills a must. Must be able to pass pre-hire telemetry exam
