Approximately 20 hours/week spread out over 3-4 days in shifts of 4-6 hours M-F availability, 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm required.
Ensures safety of patients and staff during MRI procedures by screening and monitoring for contraindications and maintaining equipment.
Maintains security around the entrance to each magnet. Ensures that no person enters Zone 3 without proper screening for ferrous objects. Uses metal detection devices as warranted to detect ferrous objects.
Actively participates in the responsibility for MR safety of each patient and other employees. Follows Radiation, MR, and general safety policies. Complies with radiology, state, federal, and other regulatory guidelines, and policies.
Represents the department’s customer service focus for both internal and external contacts. Education Requirement: High school graduate, required. Currently enrolled in healthcare related field of study, preferred.
Licensure Requirement: (not specified)
Current CPR Certification, preferred.
High level of professionalism and ability to establish good rapport with patients and staff.
