Day Shift Hours: 3 days per week at 12 hour shifts Interventional & surgical MRI procedures, providing critical imaging support across a variety of OR cases Advanced Modality Technologist position Surgical environment Siemens MRI Machines Training for position will be on day shift at 5 days per week for about 3 months before moving to the 3 days per week rotating schedule
Associate degree or higher in related field Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R. T. (R) and/or MR 2 years’ experience

Role Purpose Performs all responsibilities of a Advanced Modality Technologist and assumes responsibilities of the Lead Tech in their absence. Assists in the development and training of students and/or new employees. Senior Advance Modality Technologist must have 3 or more responsibilities within the following categories: hospital/department initiatives, patient experience and employee engagement, quality assurance, process improvement and mentorship.
Performs all responsibilities under the direction of lead/charge of advanced modality technologist. Responsibilities Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
Assists with regulatory compliance for the department (ACR, JC). Maintains up-to-date regulatory information. Oversees department quality assurance program under the direction of the Clinical Instructor or Lead/Charge.
Participates in department or hospital safety/quality process improvements and initiatives. Leads the team in improving patient experience and/or improving employee engagement. Mentors new employee and/or clinical students under the direction of the CI.
