MRI Tech - 10 hours (Every Other Sunday)

0-Every other Sunday 10am - 8pm (can be flexible around hours)Under supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist, and following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties related to MRI. Performs MRI procedures in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illnesses and injury, is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing MRI procedures and use of MRI equipment.

/Qualifications/Training/Experience:Minimum one year of experience in MRI TechnologyExcellent communication, customer service and organizational skillsWorking knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, and/or willingness to continue formal education in this category within a designated time periodWill require 1-3 months of orientation or the equivalent with on-the-job training based on existing skill-setPreferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:Hands on experience with Siemens MRI equipmentSynapse/PACS experienceEducational

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology; successful completion of an intravenous certification class approved by this institution, successfully accomplished within the 12 week probationary periodLicense/Certification: ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology required.Physical Demands:Use hands to control objects, tools, or controls, stand or sit for long periods of time, repeat the same movements, on feet for long periods of time, bend or twist body.
