In this role, you will select proper technical factors based on procedure, diagnosis, age, size, weight and anatomical differences and general health status of patients. You must demonstrate the knowledge to identify educational needs, obtain a patient’s history, and use easily understood terminology for explaining procedures and care to patients. Must be licensed by state where required or ARDMS (American registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).
