Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and departmental policies. Evaluate patients to ensure they are appropriate candidates for MRI procedures, including thorough screening for metal or orthopedic devices. Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and reduce anxiety.

Operate and adjust MRI equipment and computer settings to produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists.
