Days | PRN How you’ll make an impact in this role Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging as an MRI Technologist by accurately selecting technical parameters to produce precise cross-sectional body scans. Deliver exceptional patient care by conducting pre-screening for metal safety, scheduling, and providing education to ensure comfort during examinations. Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to provide direct patient care while strictly adhering to safety protocols and clinical guidelines.
Manage clinical documentation and image transfers within the EHR and PACS to ensure data integrity and prompt diagnostic reporting. Lead quality improvement efforts by verifying image accuracy and patient history to support effective diagnosis and treatment for all pathologies. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licenses/Certifications/Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Radiography (R), Nuclear Medicine Technology (N), Sonography (S) or Vascular Sonography (VS) also accepted. Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any specialty accepted.
Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program preferred.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
