The MRI Technologist I 11/12 cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.
Will be scheduled and required to work 11 out of every 12 weekends. Qualifications REQUIRED
- High School Diploma/ GED - Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program. Licensure/ Certification: - BLS American Heart Association - ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or must obtain within one year of hire if not currently registered. Other Skills/ Knowledge: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
