Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position. OverviewThis position will be at the Rock Cut location

The MRI Technologist I cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the technologist is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.

QualificationsREQUIRED

- High School Diploma/ GED Graduate from accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program. Licensure/ Certification: - BLS American Heart Association; ARRT (MR) Advanced certification in MRI or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT), or must obtain within one year of hire if not currently registered. Other Skills/ Knowledge:- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

- 2 years’ radiography experience.- 1 year MRI experience. Licensure/ Certification: - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(R) registered OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
