At PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Washington , you'll have the flexibility of a Per Diem (PRN) MRI Technologist role while working with a team that values both clinical excellence and compassionate care. What your days could look like You'll perform a variety of routine and advanced MRI procedures, combining technical expertise with meaningful patient interaction.
From positioning and image acquisition to quality control and safety protocols, you'll play a critical role in delivering the diagnostic information providers depend on. In this role, you will: Perform MRI exams that produce high-quality diagnostic images Operate MRI equipment for image acquisition, reconstruction, and documentation Apply MRI safety best practices to protect patients, visitors, and caregivers Use your clinical judgment and patient care skills to create a positive imaging experience Maintain quality standards and support accurate, timely diagnoses Schedule & Pay Per Diem (PRN) Variable shifts scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. \$49.59 - \$74.83 per hour Additional 15% differential in lieu of benefits What you bring Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology, or equivalent education and experience required for licensure/certification Washington Radiologic Technologist license at hire Current BLS certification ARRT (R), ARRT (MR), ARRT (Sonography), CNMT, or ARMRIT certification upon hire ARRT (MR) obtained within 18 months of hire Demonstrated venipuncture competency Knowledge of MRI procedures, terminology, anatomy, and imaging applications Experience in MRI preferred, with at least one year of previous experience strongly valued More than a PRN opportunity Even in a role under 0.5 FTE, PeaceHealth supports caregiver wellbeing through: 403(b) retirement savings plan Wellness benefits Employee discount program Expanded employee assistance and mental health resources If you're the kind of MRI technologist who takes pride in both image quality and patient care, you'll find meaningful work here, one scan and one patient at a time.

Working Conditions: Regular standing, walking, reaching, and operating imaging equipment. May assist with patient handling and lifting (up to 35 lbs. per NIOSH guidelines with assistive devices as appropriate). Exposure to healthcare environments including biohazards and body fluids.
