As an MRI Technologist, you will perform routine MRI exams and procedures on patients of all ages, health backgrounds and conditions. You will ensure they feel comfortable, safe and properly informed throughout the entire process, helping facilitate a welcoming and supportive experience. In this role, you have access to a unique avenue in which to enhance your skills using the latest technologies and leave a positive lasting impression on patients every day.
A PRN (as needed) caregiver in this position works varying shifts. A caregiver who excels in this role will: Acquire and review patient questionnaire, chart and data/requisition to determine contraindication of having MRI examination. Perform MRI procedures required per protocol and perform daily QA.
Educate patients regarding MRI procedures, equipment, and exams. Ensure patients' comfort and safety during and after the exam. Report any malfunctions and observe potential equipment dysfunctions and report problems or calls for service.
Maintain available equipment up-time at the highest level for patient accessibility. Processes billing via RIS. Instruct and mentor new hires and Radiology students.
Attend in-service programs and professional affiliation sessions.

(T)(ARRT), in good standing. Or must be a Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R. T.
(N) (ARRT) in good standing or be a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (ARDMS and NMTCB are primary pathways) Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging: R.
