Job Summary and Qualifications As an MRI Technologist you will operate the MRI scanners to obtain images for use by the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. You will perform procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretations by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. You will exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics. You will demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of non-imaging procedures/skills for all age groups served.
You will perform procedures efficiently and according to the protocol for radiologic interpretation You may need to life patients or assist in lifting on and off the exam table to position for appropriately for procedures. You will need to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision to keep procedures on schedule with no deviation due to lack of technical expertise.
Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology Program required Current state licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in MRI preferred Venipuncture Certification preferred within one year Benefits Good Samaritan Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
