MRI Technologist - Up to $13,500 Sign-On Bonus

Job OverviewHere at Fairview, we are now seeking an MRI Technologist to join our imaging team at our Southdale Medical Building in Edina, MN! This is a .9 FTE (72 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work the following

Week 1:Monday/Tuesday 8:30AM - 8:30PMWednesday 12PM - 8:30PM Week 2:Monday/Tuesday 12PM - 8:30PMThursday/Friday 8:30AM - 8:30PM This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience. The Clinic MRI Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team.

The technologist is responsible for performing these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT). ResponsibilitiesMaintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomesPerforms excellent patient carePerforms examinationsIdentifies relevant data from images accuratelyUses appropriate communication skills to meet patient/family, and other customer needs.

Communicates pertinent data clearly to the appropriate health care professionalVerify patient identification and documentationCommunicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of examAchieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocolApplies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing proceduresRequired QualificationsCurrent Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)
