Will provide care as a team with the nurses such as but not limited to: Obtaining vital signs Obtaining Blood Glucose readings Helping patient with mealtime feedings Bathing Patient restroom assistance and cleaning Ambulation of the patient Grooming Lifting, turning, and repositioning of patients in beds and chairs Blood draws for patient labs Collaborating with nurses, MDs, and other patient care specialties Emptying and obtaining wound or surgical drain output Wound or surgical incision site dressing changes POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High School Diploma or 10 years of relevant experience Minimum Experience No prior experience is required.
EAH will provide on the job training: medical terminology class, phlebotomy clinical, BLS class, and 1-on-1 training with an MCT in your department. Required Registration/License/Certification BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire date. EAH will provide.
