Multimodality Radiology Technologist I - Londonderry/Bedford - Full Time

About the Job: The practice of radiography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. A multimodality technologist performs radiographic and CT Scan procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by, or by the request of, a licensed independent practitioner.

What You’ll Do: Maintains a working knowledge of all radiographic and CT Scan equipment within the department. Prepares and positions patient for CT and X-Ray procedures according to the procedure manual. Adjusts technical factors in proportion to patient and body part being examined while minimizing radiation.

Prepares and/or administers contrast media, i.e., orally, IV, rectally. Checks patient charts for lab results and allergies prior to the administration of IV contrast. Provides radiation protection to patient, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.

• Every weekend- Londonderry -8am
• 8pm opposite weekend Bedford 6am
• 4pm Every Monday Bedford 7am
