Licensure
✓Graduate of an AMA approved school or training program, a 24-month approved School of Radiologic Technology, or other approved training (i.e. Military), AND be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.
✓Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
✓Registration/Certification: Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ARRT Advanced Modality Registration, and licensed by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA).
Certifications
✓Certification is required in modality area post radiology certification.
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
✓Advanced Cardiac Life
✓Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
Support (ACLS) preferred.
Education
✓Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent Work Experience: 2-4 years.
✓Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Qualifications
✓One year of experience as a registered Radiological Technologist and CT, MRI Tech or Mammography Tech.
✓Work Experience: At least 2 years of multi-modality experience.
✓Skill Sets: Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate.

About the role

The Dual Registered Technologist reports to the Imaging Director. Under general supervision, the Radiology and CT/MRI/Mammography Dual Registered Technologist performs high quality Radiology/CT/MRI or Mammography examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician.
