Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Board certified and licensed (or eligible) in South Carolina Experience in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, or critical care preferred Experience with structural heart or interventional cardiology strongly preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment Strong procedural, clinical, and communication skills Position Highlights: Provide direct clinical care to interventional cardiology patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Evaluate and manage new and established patients using clinical history, physical examination, laboratory findings, imaging, and other diagnostic results. Coordinate referrals, consultations, follow-up care, and transitions across the patient journey. Collaborate closely with the attending or collaborating physician and the broader cardiovascular team.
Document and bill for care provided in accordance with organizational and professional standards. Apply current research and evidence-based decision-making to clinical practice. Participate in quality improvement, performance improvement, clinical research, accreditation, compliance, and regulatory activities.
Support the development of future clinicians by precepting APP students and helping onboard new team members, as needed.
