Developed in partnership with Carteret Community College, the paid program provides students with valuable education and work experience while covering program-related costs, including tuition, books, and uniforms. • Apprenticeship during the spring semester of their senior year by completing the required classroom and clinical training. This preparation provides students with the knowledge, skills, and professional behaviors needed to work in a healthcare setting while introducing them to healthcare careers and the expectations, responsibilities, and opportunities within the profession. Following high school graduation, students transition to the on-the-job training (OJT) component at Carteret Health Care, working a minimum of 12 hours per week during the summer.
