- Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Therapist, StaffFlex contract $49.00/hr 7p - 7a Open availability Delivers routine respiratory treatments and continuous respiratory therapy including aerosol therapy, lung expansion therapy, oxygen therapy, and bronchial hygiene. Monitors, instructs, and coaches patients before, during, and after treatment delivery. Prevents and/or resolves untoward side effects and adjusts therapies according to protocol and documented clinical criteria. Reevaluates patient/ventilator interface a minimum of every four hours, responds to alarms, and troubleshoots as needed. Establishes weaning readiness and facilitates the weaning process, adjusting ventilator settings in accordance with patient progress. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Patient care skills to care for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations are required. [Required]
- Intubations and airway management for all population served [Preferred]
- Ventilator management for all populations served [Preferred]
- Arterial line placements [Preferred]
- Associate [Required]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required] Field of Study:
- Must be a graduate of an approved respiratory care program Work
