You’ll need
Certifications
✓REEG certification preferred, but not mandatory if candidate by experience.
Education
✓High School graduate or G.E.D. Successful completion of EEG training from an accredited school.
Qualifications
✓Must be competent in detection of cardiac arrhythmias.
✓New graduates accepted.
✓Ability to operate EEG and Neurodiagnostic Testing equipment.
✓Position requires extended periods of both walking and sitting.
✓Ability to bend, stretch, reach, handle/finger delicate objects.
✓Must be able to lift and position patients.
✓Excellent verbal and auditory skills required for communicating clearly and effectively with patients, physicians, families, care team members, other hospital departments.
✓Ability to cope with physical and emotional stress.
✓Ability to communicate in a tactful, diplomatic way.
✓Ability to handle information with strict confidentiality.
✓Willingness to upgrade skills with evolvement of technology.
