Mount Sinai South Nassau is one of the eight hospitals that is part of the Mount Sinai Health System and is located in Oceanside, Long Island. The Division of Neurology is currently comprised of eight faculty Neurologists who work to achieve the hospital’s Joint Commission’s gold seal of approval for disease-specific care for primary stroke, AHA Gold Plus Stroke Center and partial thrombectomy capable interventional services, in the setting of a very active neurosurgical service, state of the art neurological imaging studies and epilepsy platform, and a full-service tertiary care hospital.
We are in the process of building a full comprehensive thrombectomy capable Stroke Center and Neurology Service and are looking to recruit full-time faculty to expand the Division’s services.
